Few snaps of the reebok stand at Bread and Butter last week. Always a good stand in the sport and street area, this year they were giving these out to selected clients as a press gift, I didn't manage to cop but still a big look!

I recently sold some shit on ebay (LTD EDITION pink vinyl Madonna album and a RHCP boxset I nicked when I worked at Warner Bros Recs) and ended up with some free virtual money.

I decided to bid on these..

Back row left to right;
A happy meal box that turns into a dinosaur from 1990. In excellent condition.
A quarter pounder with cheese box which opens up to a robot inside from 1988. In good condition.
A newer version of a burger box which turns into crocodile from 1990. In excellent condition.
A milkshake cup which opens up to a robot inside from 1988. This is very yellowed with age and is stiff to open.

Front row left to right:
A burger which opens up to a robot inside from 1987. In excellent condition.
A fries packet which opens up to a robot from 1987. In good condition, transforms with ease but some chips to the paintwork.

Sade & Doom

Sade - Is It A Crime? LIVE

Don't fuck with Sade.

This is easily the best live performance I have ever seen, and I wasn't even there. I'm struggling to find out when it's from, but found it was in LA. I would part with a good amount of money to see Sade perform the best stuff from 'Diamond Life' and 'Promise'..

Out to MF Doom on sample duties here ('Kon Karne' from 'MM FOOD' - a song written about his deceased brother and ex-K.M.D beatmaker, Subroc) try and spot it the original up there ^ if u can (not hard). He sampled Sade before this on Operation Doomsday with the title track 'Doomsday' taking the most of the instrumental elements and the bridge vocal from 'Kiss of Life'

I love how he flips the original line in the Sade song 'My love is wider, wider than Victoria Lake, My love is taller, taller than the Empire State' into various localised similies like:

'Darker than the East River, Larger than the Empire State where the beasts guard the barbed-wire gate'

'Wilder than Nile, hold power like the great Pyramids of Giza and stay Lean like the Tower of Pisa'

'Vaster than the Seven Seas, Bigger than Mount Killamanjaro, if they don't know fill 'em in tomorrow'

MF Doom - Kon Karne

'As i reminisce, never forgot when i was very broke,
Shot the Heny straight, couldn't afford to cop the Cherry Coke..'

Here's a K.M.D classic produced by Subroc:

Kanye & Fly Lo

Eyes and ears have been on Flying Lotus for a while now. With some great release on Warp he's now proving his hand at remixing is as good as his original work.

Flying Lotus & Lil Wayne - Robo Tussin (A Milli)

This one came about last year, a couple of months into the hype of the original, and definately my favourite of the remixes..

Kode9 appeared on his Brainfeeder radio show he does out of LA in Novermber alongside Samiyam, Gaslamp Killer & Hudson Mohawke, you can download that HERE

Now he's remixed Kanye in a Burial-esque style, trading the vintage crackle-sounds for skips and pops.

Kanye West - Love Lockdown (Flying Lotus Remix)

Bash is back!

Interview with B-Real
“As far as weed goes, 2008 was The Year of The Kush. No other cannabis strain was as prized, as hard to find or as mythologized as this remarkable scion of two fantastic strains, Chem/Dawg and Sour Diesel.”. More...
