All about Bogle tonight @ East Village!

This is the biggest flyer I could find... but still, DJ Slimzee (!!!) (Pay As U Go Selecta, Dubplate Father, Grime Champion) headlines.. I can't remember the last time I saw Slimzee's name on a flyer so I'll definitely be reaching. He used to kill it back in the day. I have a few sidewinder recordings on my old dead-out PC which I'm hoping I will one day fix, of him and Dizzee Rascal/Tinchy Stryder from like 2003!

Here is a Sidewinder Promo CD from 2003 mixed by Slizee and hosted by Riko Dan

Theses were the days man! I loved it.. Minimal beats and big bass-lines, and big energy from the MCs rather than non stop shankarific bars.

Oi You, Karen Koltrane (Teens of Thailand), Work It and Blaise Bellville all play also.

So yeah reach Bogle if your in East later, I'll be lurking...

Em & Proof

This is an old Eminem & Proof radio freestyle i came across on youtube. Blatantly both totally wasted, freestyle flowin' and keep it proper tight. They connected as rappers when the free-styled together better than any other rap duo you can name!

Here's another one. This was the end part of an interview that was done with Kurt Loder on MTV in the States when Eminem was coming up.

R.I.P Proof. Big up all the real hip-hop!

He's doing a lot at the moment.. tunes like this (and his sick Live set) have got him gigs at Fabric and a guest appearance on Sinden's Kiss FM Show.

Also it would be a dick'ead ting not to reach the Launch Party for the EP at YoYo this Thursday!

GL Tron

It's sick.

I love Tron anyway, it's one of my favourite films visually, and to be honest was a bit skeptical at first about this game, as most Tron games I've played have tended to be a bit naff, but this one is heavy.. Its a game for the Mac created by Andreas Umbach, It can be played as a 1 player, or as a multi-player with up to 4 players. You can assign the controls to different areas of your keyboard so everyone can play with space. There are 2 simple controls, right and left. You can also control the camera angle of the game by moving the touch-pad or mouse on your mac.. BAD.

The aim of the game is to be the last player riding. (The original Tron music is used as the soundtrack for the game as well by the way, zoop zoop)

It reminds me a lot of 'Snake 2' from the old Nokia phones, the one on the later models like (i think) the 8310 (the little red and black one) and the 'Matrix Phone'

But yeah anyway you can download it here if you have a MAC
So at the moment I'm collaborating/managing an pseudo-anonymous political preacher and artist from NYC called HERO, I met her out there when I was living there last year and she's bangin'. She's done a few bits in London you can check it out on my website ( go to the artist section.

I was with her this afternoon and took some photographs of some new shit she's working on...

Top Ten One-Liners

Listening to a lot of MF Doom recently has got me hooked on his one-liners..

So I give 'em something to remember like the Alamo"

'Rhymes Like Dimes' from 'Operation: Doomsday'

Say shit to make your daughter laugh and slaughter the ass"

'Kon Queso' from 'MM Food'

4. "Retarded in real life, on the mic Rain Man
stand close to his main man like a chain gang"

5. " Borderline schizo, sort of fine tits tho,
Pour the wine, hold the grind, quarter to nine, lets go"

'Meat Grinder' from Madvillainy

I got this other style I ain't flip in a while, it goes:
Pure scientific intelligence, with one point of relevance

The Super motherfucking Villain, nigga came through raw like the elements.."

'Dead Bent' from 'Operation: Doomsday'

Such an exciting new brand for Donuts that I'm gunna make it my first post. False is a seriously high grade brand, lovingly handmade by Le Messie & Amanda Scully. Every item is hand screen printed n finished by the duo & comes in it's own ziplock bag with hanging tags & stickers. The price may be a little more than our usual T's but I think very worth it. This seasons range contains collabs with our dearest Fatsarazzi & also artist She One. Look out for this is Donuts very very soon...

Code Magazine Issue 11..

..back in April I went to support Trapstar do a photo-shoot for Netherlands street-wear magazine Code. This event I think has slipped from most peoples minds who were their.. but the other night my friend reminded me and said she had seen me in an exhibition at Bread & Butter in Barcelona.. So now my memory has been refreshed I wanna see these photos.. its been long enough. This magazine should be coming out very soon.. I don't know where you can grab a copy or if it will even be in English though.. check out Code's website by clicking here.

Here's some pics taken by Delphine at Bread & Butter.

Estavan Oriol, legendary photographer and co-founder of Joker wear clothing came to town last week, and on Saturday he was doing an in-store signing at the Stussy shop.
